FILM ACTING INTENSIVE
Another unforgettable experience
Esther Zimmering and Melanie Reisert joined us for an intense, life-expanding experience, studying with American Masters of film here in Los Angeles. Here is what Esther said about our work:
“Go and do it! It’s an “all-comprehensive” program. I arrived here with my already existing knowledge and experience and I learned about a new market, I tapped into a foreign language, I opened myself to new information and I got a reality check where I am at in my career. All this is tremendously precious and valuable!”

Immerse Yourself in the Future
In my awareness it is really time for artists to step up to the plate. So if you were an actor before, check in your bags of gifts of this life-time what else is there that wants to get activated and shared with the world.
Hence we have launched a new series called VISIONS FOR THE WORLD. This will include healing and transcendental work with teachers, guides, shamans and healers. BROOKS GREEN-BARTON was one of them recently travelling to Berlin again under the tutelage of Marcus M Jung.
My dear friend and sister Kate McCallum and German mastermind Philip Horvath organized an amazing event on Monday Nov 16th that also invited famous futurist Jerome Clayton Glenn, 'Creative Visions' Founder Kathy Eldon (www.creativevisions.org) and John Raatz from GATE (www.thevisioneeringgroup.com) and members of the LA Opera to the panel.
Their mission is to bring together thought leaders in Arts, Media, Consciousness, and leading edge Immersive Technologies for an extraordinary range of plenary sessions, exhibits and immersive interactive experiences.
C3: Center for Conscious Creativity was founded to provide individuals wiht the resources to explore, encourage and fulfill the innate humand drive toward Authentic Self-Expression. C3 believes that as individuals dedicate themselves to full self-actualization and expression, the result is global transformation - holding true to the theory that as the individual transforms, so does society. Cooking with MARCY COLE
A Surprise Birthday Party

- Marcy and friends at LAFoodWorks' House
Many of you know that I did a lot of healing work around the German/Jewish issue, especially after I left my production company and had to work through the drama that happened to me. And as I completed my 'Dark Night of the Soul' in 2005 I suddenly had all these new jewish friends showing up. One of them is beautiful Marcy, a true renaissance woman and mover and shaker in LA. She has started a very powerful woman's organization with gatherings of extraordinary woman from all fields of life. It just went nationwide. Check out www.firsttuesdayla.com. She is a woman in 'control' and we still we managed to surprise her with a birthday party she could not have dreamt about. Some of her and today my best friends cooked together - and she doesn't even like to cook and we had a fantastic time. Now that's a movie right there!
Meeting EMILY BLUNT
An exclusive DGA (Director's Guild of America) screening of YOUNG VICTORIA
Sitting with such a young and already so well accomplished actors who speaks with such a sense of humor and self-confidence was truly a highlight of my week.
Emily Blunt is so funny and natural that she literally blows you away with her sense of humor. She entertained the entire audience and made all of us laugh for at least 30 minutes.
When asked what she was working on right now, she replied: "I am playing a part of a primaballerina in a movie with Matt Damon - hate that, right - wouldn't you hate that."
As for her role in YOUNG VICTORIA she creates a little masterpiece bringing such aliveness, freshness and so much heart to this historical piece.
She goes beyond all the stiffness of form and etiquette and creates such incredible intimacy with her male lead 'Prince Albert' (Rupert Friend). She said "they were really relying on each other and made each other laugh all the time."
"Wearing a corsette helped to get into the demands of this historical piece, by around 4pm I would always check the watch and be relieved that it was only a few more hours. It hurt..."
Meeting VIGGO MORTENSEN
Writers' Guild Screening of THE ROAD
Marcus and myself were honored to meet one of my all-time favorite actors Viggo Mortensen at an exclusive screeening of his highly anticipated movie THE ROAD.
Marcus reminded me that I told him years ago at a screening of MAN IN THE MOON "that this man is going to become a star". Today he is well remembered as the king Aragon in LORD OF THE RINGS and has shared his KING archetype and essence with audiences all over the world.
We were so impressed by Viggo Mortensen’s integrity as an artist and his authenticity as an actor on screen.
from the Q & A for ‘The Road’ screening:
During a conversation and Q & A on stage Mortensen told the audience, that these days he is often drawn to a movie if he is a bit frightened by it. “I try to find something interesting and a little scary,” Mortensen explained.
John Hillcoat’s “The Road” is a very powerful and intimate portrait of a father and son. Mortensen’s ‘Man’ has seen the previous, seemingly prosperous world before it was struck by a massive, unnamed apocalyptic event that has apparently left no sustainable natural resources and just a few survivors who are battling each other to survive.
“‘The Road’ was to some degree one of those instances,” he related, adding that he was also “very concerned” that it couldn’t be made into a movie. If he was going to do the film, he said that the key role of ‘The Boy’ in the film had to be cast perfectly. When they found Kodi Smit-McPhee, who plays the boy, Mortensen said he gained more confidence.
Viggo related a lot to his co-star, Kodi, who plays the boy, as being so present, that all he needed to do was to open up to him, and he would be instantly in reality of the story, his character and all that he needed for his performance from moment to moment would just show up.
Another key factor was the character of the landscape, he added. Just to move in the environment that the story takes place in, did it for him. Even so he is a very much known for his extensive research and method approach to his roles, this was amazing to hear how in this film everything came together and created the magic that we feel when we see films that touch us on a deeply human level.
After the Q & A Marcus had a chance to talk to him in person, and to thank him for this deeply moving experience of seeing this film. What he found very interesting was that he related as a colleague and human being to him, not as a movie star – another quality that is rather rare when you encounter ‘stars’ of that caliber.
Please go and see ‘The Road’. This is an extraordinary experience and rare chance especially for us actors to be inspired and motivated to continue on our path as artists and storytellers. The world needs good storytelling and actors who tell those stories more than ever.
